Major lagging

  • I just started using the plugin on a new WP install, everything is uptodate, no cache plugins, I’m on a dedicated server.
    My theme automatically generates different thumbnail sizes of the single image uploaded (about 7 of them) since it’s a classified site and responsive.

    I have few plugins on board, among them, File Rename by Meow Apps, which I’m wondering it there’s a conflict or an incompatibility isssue.

    I tested with “Replace the file, use new file name and update all links”
    The issue is the lagging, it lags/stalls when I replace a file, I wait 2 minutes and then hit Refresh and voila, it’s done, but what’s up with the lagging? Why does it take so long to complete the replacement?

    Hi @fanaticweb,

    Enable Media Replace has no lagging when replacing the file. It obviously takes a little bit of time to do the replacement, but it’s just a couple of seconds.

    Can you please deactivate all your plugins except EMR and try again? If that works, then please activate your plugins, one by one, and doing a replacement after each activation.

    This way we’ll be able to spot the conflicting plugin.
