• Hey all-

I have All In One SEO installed on several sites using different themes. The error I seem to be getting across the board is that the plugin is pulling the home page title tag and adding it to the page/post title tags. Even when I remove the home page title tag it still leaves a residual “|” (that’s the pipe character) on the page/post title tag. I can’t seem to figure out why this is happening, please help ?? Please make no mistake I think this plugin ROCKS I’m just trying to figure out what’s not clicking here ??

You will find the controls for this under All in One SEO, General Settings, Title Settings (https://semperplugins.com/documentation/title-settings/). Here you’ll see all of the Title Format fields such as Page Title Format. You should see that the format looks like this:

    %page_title% | %blog_title%

If you don’t want the | Site Title showing then change the format to this:

    %page_title%

I have a similar issue and if I go to AIOS General Settings there are only 3 items under Title Settings:
    Rewrite Titles: Enabled Disabled
    Capitalize Titles: Checkbox
    Capitalize Category Titles: Checkox

There is no Title Format Fields anywhere that I can see.
    What am I missing?

    Hi Sasha,

You need to set Rewrite Titles to Enabled.

    Hi,

    Thank you for your response.
I only see two options under Performance Settings:
    Raise memory limit
    Raise execution time

I don’t see Rewrite Titles to Enabled.

    Why would it be?
