• So far I love everything about this theme however when I went to set up the homepage slider I discovered a problem. Assuming I’m not playing around with it when you look you can see the problem here: https://www.weedthebook.ca

The slider is only showing one single line, about a cm tall on my screen (I’m sorry I don’t know how to determine how many pixels it is). If there is an image in the post it displays the image FULL size with all the text on top of the image. If there is no image it displays only one line as I said first.

    Any ideas?

    Hi there,
You’ll need to set the featured image for every slider post while creating/editing slider post. Leaving the featured image unset for the slider posts will result in such kind of behavior.

Thanks for the quick reply. You were right, the ones that showed up tiny had no feature image. However when there is a feature image it is displaying both the feature image and on top of it other images that are in the post. If you look you can see what I mean. How do I stop this behaviour so that it displays only text on top of the feature/slider image?

The other problem is it is REALLY big, it is displaying the feature image at full size. What are the dimensions of the original slider you had in there? I couldn’t find any info in the documentation of what the ideal dimensions of the feature image should be.

    Hi there,
In the Accesspress Lite theme the slider post are meant to have only limited contents (short contents) for the title and content to display as caption title and caption description in the frontend and is recommended to do so. Adding Images and longer contents in slider post is not recommended for this very theme.

About the Slider image dimensions 1900×550 is the Recommend image size for the slider.
    Thanks,
