Major Site Problem

    Yikes,

    So my site was up and running all nice but I noticed I had a whole bunch of images in my library and I wanted to clean up.

    I started deleting them and all of a sudden my site is completely down! even the wordpress interdace runs really slowly when customizr is set at the theme. Total disaster.

    Seriously all I did was delete some images. Anyone have any idea what could have happened? Everything runs fine if I switch to another theme and I have tried deleting and uninstalling the theme with no luck.

    The site looks just fine as a preview, when I activate it then the page won’t load and I get this from my browser..

    “Internal Server Error

    The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

    Please contact the server administrator, [no address given] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

    More information about this error may be available in the server error log.”

    Try checking your site’s error logs for a more specific error message. Your hosts should be able to help you accessing your site’s error logs.

    Resolved:

    Just a note for anyone else who had this issue, I think I had deleted the logo and/or favicon from the media library but I had to ‘remove’ them in the (appearance -> customise -> logo & favicon) menu too!

    Such a simple little thing!
