Major Updates tend to break existing slides

  • Sadly Version 1.5 again broke my slide show completely. This is the third time that has happened with a major upgrade and required me to work on the slides again. I rolled back to 1.4.9.1 and its fine again.

    I’m sorry to hear that 1.5 broke your slideshows. The only major change in version 1.5 of the Slideshow Gallery plugin which could break the slideshows would be that all Javascript has been moved to the footer using wp_footer action hook. Please ensure that your WordPress theme contains wp_footer() function in it’s footer.php file. It is a standard and convention.
