Make a Child Theme of Intenso

  • I’m trying to make a child theme of Intenso and I’m curious of the best practices for this particular theme. I see Intenso itself is a child of avventura-lite so in theory I could just copy all theme files into my own child folder but is there a better way? I just want to add some .css styles for now, it seems like many themes have different child theme requirements.

    unfortunately you can’t create a child theme of a another child theme, you should use Intenso as starter theme

    Alternately, if you need to add only css files, you could create a plugin

    Ok that’s good to know! I’m tempted to look into a plugin since I’ve never attempted such a thing but worst comes to worst is I can recreate the entire theme as my own child theme of Avventura and copy over the sytle.css file every time there’s an update. Thanks!
