Make address field on optional?

    I sell both virtual and real products. For virtual products I don’t want people to have to force clients to fill in address details when purchasing virtual products but I need to leave the address fields there as optional but not required for people who buy real products. Can this be done please? Before install I had hoped there would be tick boxes to make every field optional and not a required field. Can you advise please? Great plugin. Thanks

  • I also want to make the address field optional as I provide a Self Collection option for my customers to pick up the item from the physical shop.

    Hi, due to the update of woocommerce, this cannot be done, I made a work around to this, which is to disable the same address fields for your virtual goods,which leaves the rest of other products with address fields.

    Same outcome. Very simple to use and understand.

    I’m looking into downloading the full version, but have a question I need clarified first as I don’t quite understand your answer above. I need the shipping address fields to all be optional. I don’t sell virtual products, but most of my customers pick up from me locally and I don’t want them to have to put in their address as it is irrelevant. Please advise. Thank you!
