    Hi,
Put an alternative to email piping that is local, just like all other support plugins (like Support Candy) do.

Many users don’t migrate to Fluent Support Pro because they don’t want to use a third-party redirector that redirects their customers tickets to another email (@fluent.support) and to a third-party service (Amazon Lambda). Not only for security reasons, but also for the WordPress philosophy. Support ticket has to be local and sent only to the support agent email, without sending anything to other intermediate emails.

Even if a paid addon is created for this purpose, this alternative must be created for your users.

    Thanks.

  • Shahjahan Jewel has confirmed (in the official Facebook group) that they will open-source the email parser and let us host it ourselves. That way, we’ll be able to handle emails in a GDPR compliant way.

I just posted a reminder to check in on when it will be available.

    Thanks for the information @karlemilnikka

If there are comments in the facebook group and here in the support area, it is a sign that many more users are interested in this resolution.

    Hello guys,
I know it’s late but we are working on it and I think we can release a public repo for this within next month (sorry few of our core developers are attending WordCamp EU).

    Unfortunately I give up.
I can’t leave my customers without a support system for so many months.
Fluent Support is unfortunately going the opposite way of the WordPress philosophy.

I will purchase a Support Candy license.

*The problem has not been resolved.`
