    Hi Rob
    (and everyone else),

is there a possibility to make an exception when the post type is for example an image post? Because for these posts I have a featured image set, but it’s not displayed on the article – because it’s already in the article itself. (I hope one can understand what I mean).

I know that at the moment the plugin doesn’t distinguish between different article types. So this would be a feature request if you think that it makes sense ??

I’m not sooo good at wordpress-php-programming but I think I will give it a try. If anyone has a tip where to put in the crucial line of code I would also appreciate that ??

    Regards,
    Jennifer

  • Hi Jennifer,

See this support thread regarding featured images and images in the body both being displayed:

    https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/featured-image-shown-twice-1?replies=4

Bottom line, the theme should have an option to display the featured image, and then you don’t need that same image in the body, or if not, then you’d need to customize the theme, or change themes.

This plugin doesn’t do anything with post types, it just adds the featured image set on any post to be output in the RSS. If you don’t want it displayed for a specific post, or posts, don’t set one for those posts. ??
