• I created a Paint 3D banner. So it is saved as an image. How can I make it clickable by cell phone users and clicking it will dial the number displayed in the image.

    I tried this:
    [ Moderated: phone number redacted.]

in the Display Setting > Link To > Custom URL
    [ Moderated: phone number redacted.]

    But it did not work.
The image did not do anything when I tapped it with my finger on my cell phone. It also does not show a “little white hand” on a desktop PC when I hover over it.

It is placed in a Image widget in the sidebar.

    …..

I do know one thing, dialing the number manually, with a 1 at the beginning, won’t do anything on my cell phone, but if I don’t add the 1 to the digit string it dials just fine.
Although I don’t think that has anything to do with clickable links, it is just something I noticed.

The proper format for an image linked to a phone number would be something like

    <a href="tel:123-456-7890"><img src="/path/to/image.jpg"></a>
