Make Dark Mode Default

    When using the ‘Make Dark Mode Default’ if I use the switch on the front end to make it light, going to another page / link etc sets it back to Dark mode. It is not remembering the user choice in this instance

    I have switched off minify and speed up loading static pages, I have also cleared the template Cache

    Allow us to clarify the current functionality of WP Dark Mode features:

    Upon enabling the “Make Dark Mode Default”, all pages will initially appear in dark mode as per its “Dark Mode Default” feature behavior.

    If you disable the “Make Dark Mode Default” feature, “Remember Dark Mode” will follow your preference. If you choose light mode and go to a new page, it stays in light mode. If you switch to dark mode and navigate to another page, it stays in dark mode. Your last preference will be remembered.

    This doesn’t make sense from a user point of view so is not a viable option, other plugins act in the correct manner…

    We have an upcoming feature that centers around user preference. Whenever users switch between light and dark mode using the toggle switch, our system will remember their choice and display the selected mode accordingly. We’ll keep you informed about its release!
