Make delivery address mandatory and billing address optional?

    Hi team,

    Currently, our website asks the customer first to enter his billing address and then optionally a different delivery address.

    Can this be turned around?

    I’d like the customer to first enter his delivery address, and optionally he can enter a billing address but doesn’t have to.

    Is this possible?

    Yes, it is possible to change the sequence of the address fields on your checkout page. However, this would require custom coding, which is beyond our scope of support. You might need to hire a developer or consider using a plugin like Checkout Field Editor that allows you to customize the checkout fields.

    You can also ask development questions on the #developers channel of the WooCommerce Community Slack. Many of our developers hang out there and will be able to offer insights into your question.

    Please note that, by default, WooCommerce uses the billing address for payment processing. If the customer doesn’t provide a billing address, it could potentially cause issues with payment gateways.
