Make desktop ads responsive

    Hello,

    I have been using Ad Inserter to manage my ads. I get some issue on tablet and mobile devices, my ads from a particular ad network are not responsive. I understood that setting up the viewports then enabling the client-side device detection for all devices (insert option) would automatically resize the non responsive ads. However all ads are still full size and cropped on tablet and mobile.

    Is there something I am doing wrong?

    I am aware that the insertion of different ad sizes for different devices is possible within the code, however I would prefer to avoid this option since, once I will change my primary ad network, and set this current ad network as a backfill the non responsive ads will go back to non-responsive.

    If you don’t want to insert different ad sizes for different viewports then you need to use responsive ad codes.

    The plugin does not change the code – it inserts it as configured. It also can’t make a non-responsive code responsive. Not possible.
    This is a feature of the ad code.

    Some ad networks like AdSense provide responsive ad code:

    Such code resizes to the width of the parent container.
