Make Field Conditional and Required

    How do I make a field that is conditional and required? In other words, it is required, but only if it shows up?

    Right now I have fields that are required for certain users but not others. But since they are required, the form won’t submit if they are not filled out, even though they did not show up. What am I doing wrong?

    Hi @gabriellesiegel ,

    As of now, we cannot set fields that will be hidden to be required at the moment. But I’ll be sure to request these as an enhancement. Furthermore, I’ll recommend not setting all the fields controlled with the conditions to be required, this will let you proceed with what you are currently planning for your registration forms.

    Hi @gabriellesiegel just to let you know that this has been fixed in the Custom Fields addon 2.5.4 just released. It requires WP User Manager 2.8.6 which has also been released, so please update that first.
