Make header connect to background and always have background showing

  • Hi all,

    I want my header to span the entire length of the page and have the background always visable. Right now, it is usually visible, but with my sites reponsive layott, sometimes it kind of gets re-sized and you cannott see it.

    I am using a child theme of mesocolumn (spelling might be a bit off).

    Any help would be appreciated, I am pretty new to wordpress, but whatever you can do would help.

    actually, I have decided against the image, but I would like to know how to center the websites title and tagline.
