Make it add link

    Hi, it’s a nice slider, but it only adds the image by default, rather than a link to the post. How can I make it link directly to the post, so I don’t have to manually add each post?

  • Hello @leon190,

    If you use ‘Recent Post Slider’ or ‘Category Slider’, you need not to add the posts manually.

    For fetching recent posts automatically, you can use the shortcode
    [smoothrecent]

    And to fetch the recent posts of certain category, you can use the shortcode

    [smoothcategory catg_slug=”sports”]

    ..where ‘sports’ is the slug (short url) of the category

    The slides will automatically link to the post.
