make it search for Buddypress profiles?

hi there,
thanks for this amazing plugin.
1. is it possible to make it search my buddypress profiles after i click on the city rather than display the map, or would be better if we can add a “Search” button and then it starts searching?
2. is it possible to make the “City” field as a drop down, the same like the “Country” and “Region”?
