    hy there,

we use domain mapping for some of our websites with our own plugin https://de.www.ads-software.com/plugins/multiple-domain-mapping-on-single-site/

we are pretty new to WP Statistics but like the plugin. we just found out, that visits via mapped domains do not show up in the statistics, also not in the “excluded hits” table.

is it possible that your plugin does actively block visits via domains that are not the same as the configured wordpress domain? if so, do you see a chance to change this behaviour via an action or filter hook to make it work with multiple domains?
best would be to see not only the url slug but the whole url in the visits table.

i hope you understand our issue.
thanks for taking time to answer ??

    matt

    Hey Matt,

I’m glad to hear you’re interested in integrating with our plugin!

I guess there might be a CORS issue when sending HTTP requests to WP Statistics API. Could you please monitor the request in Browser Developer Tools > Network > XHR to see what the response, code, and payload are?

I’m asking because there is no domain validation to check in the plugin.

    Cheers

    hy,

    thanks for your quick reply.
you are right. we usually check CORS in these setups, but it looks like something was not right here.

    works fine now ??
