Make List View look like Upcoming Events

    I want to use this wonderful plugin, but there’s one sticking point: After much trial and frustration and no success, I am wondering if there is a way to have the list view look like what the upcoming events shortcode looks like. The idea is that you can toggle between calendar and list view (for mobile). Thanks in advance!

    The two use different data models, so it’s not really possible for them to look the same way. The list view is a list of dates, and the upcoming events shortcode is a list of events, so they have a significantly different structure.

    You can override the styling for the list view and disable the JS that collapses the dates, so you’d end up with a simpler view, but it’s still going to be a list of dates that contains a list of events for that date within it.

    Thanks for the info; I understand the different structures. As a possible workaround, I’ll try using the Block Visibility plugin to have the Calendar view on larger screens and the Upcoming Events view on mobile.

    That sounds like a pretty workable way to get around this; it’ll give you the different views you need, at any rate.
