Make Listings Page Home/Front/Landing page

I have been trying without success to designate the Listings page of classyfrieds as the default/front/landing page of my wp site.

I see you have done so at:
https://classyfrieds.com/see-listings/

I am using the standard twenty twelve theme with a new install of both wp (3.5) and classyfrieds 3.8.

I can designate page-1 as a “static front page” within the theme settings but when I do so, I see nothing, no listings.

How did you do this at https://classyfrieds.com/see-listings/?
