Make menu background transparent

  • HI

    I have been playing around with the menu on my new website.

    Somehow the menu background is no longer transparent. I can go to customise transparent header – background – and change the background colour but I can’t make it transparent so the image beneath shows through, which is how it was.

    So I can change colours but not make transparent – there is no option for that.

    Any ideas please?

    Thank you for getting back to me.

    I looked at the screencast but on my screen there is nothing below the box with #0000 in it, which is where you are clicking.

    Does this only work in Pro? Or can this be edited elsewhere?

    Hi @palmerston,

    This is available with the free version of the theme as well. In case it is not visible on your end, it must be because of a plugin conflict. However, if it does not appear, you can also manually add the color code to the input box and then save it to view the results.

    You can control the color transparency with the color bar present just below the color selector. Here’s a screenshot to guide you with a visual reference: [Link to Screenshot]

    No – I can’t make menu background transparent.

    There is no way of doing so on my installation.

    I have limited plug-ins, starter templates, Spectra, duplicate page & Akismet.

    I am becoming frustrated…

    In that case, is it possible for you to share the Astra Customizer Settings of your site? Don’t worry, the exported JSON file contains only the Astra Setting and doesn’t contain any other information.
