make new page my homepage WP2023

    Hello !!
    I made a new page in twenty twentythree. I would like to make that my new homepage. Realy can’t figger out how. A slug is suggested and automaticly created on that new page (like …./home), but it should be conected to the main webadress: admin.edithvandriessche.be . (For the moment a partly automatic created page is shown there, I can not even find it in my list of pages.) I hope you understand what I try to say ;-). Many greetings, Marc

  • You need to set the page you created as a static home page on the Reading Screen, see: https://www.ads-software.com/support/article/settings-reading-screen/

    Oh so wonderfull when someone find his way to the right place in the suport topics, I realy didn’t find it (in English). It works!

    Could you perhaps say something about 1 more question…
    Is it possible to make a side-bar in WP2023 (and how to)?
    Is it possible to show that only in the blog ‘post’ area and not on the static ‘pages’?

    If by WP2023 you mean the TwentyTwentyThree theme, then I would recommend asking the question in their support forum: https://www.ads-software.com/support/theme/twentytwentythree/

    If you don’t mean a specific theme: yes, of course this works with many themes. How it works depends on the theme. Again, I would recommend asking the theme support about it or looking at their documentation if it’s not obvious from the start.
