• I am trying to figure out how to make posts “less sticky.” Basically, some posts are outdated in that they refer to old events. So I don’t want these posts to appear in the related posts at the end of newer posts. I know I could probably remove tags, but I’d prefer not to do that. Is there a way to set parameters so that older posts do not show up?

Also. I’ve noticed under “popular posts” that some posts date back to things that happened in 2008. Not really the thing I want to highlight on the first page. Any advice?

    Btw, my site is https://www.italofile.com.

    Thanks!

  • If you’re using a popular posts plugin, try referring to the plugin’s documentation.

Actually, I figured out the popular posts – my theme was geared to show posts with the most comments, not those that had actually been viewed the most.

But, I am still having trouble figuring out how to fix my related posts. They still show some older posts. Is there some way to set an expiry date for related posts so, for example, if I write about a certain event, that post doesn’t show up after the event is over? If not, would be a great plugin!

    Thanks!
