make one tab as external link on product page

This can certainly be custom coded or there are some plugins that might be able to do it. You would need to make the tab title (<h2>) a link instead:

Can you provide some custom code that I can like replicate to make the specific tab an external link? I tried doing it before but I can’t seem to figure it. I’m not too familiar with php though.

I’m not a developer so I don’t know the exact custom code to do this.

However in the example https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/editing-product-data-tabs/#section-5, where it has

echo '<h2>New Product Tab</h2>';

you could wrap that in a link so

echo '<a href="https://your-size-chart-link-here" target="_blank"><h2>Size chart</h2></a>';

Then the title should link to your size chart and open in a new tab.

However, the example provided on the URL pertains to the content of the tab and not the tab itself.

Ah that’s true, apologies. You would need to try to get it into the part where it has “New Product Tab” instead. Unfortunately I’m not sure on the correct syntax for that without testing, but it might be possible to add HTML in there.
