Make second form appear after ticking checkbox

  • Hey everyone,

    I’m wondering if it’s possible to make a certain form appear when ticking a checkbox?
    I’ll explain what I want to accomplish:

    We would like to have a page where people can register themselves and become a member of our organisation. I would like to use ContactForm7 to let them fill in all the data they need to submit to us.

    Now, I would like to do the following: people have to submit their address (since we send them our magazine once per two months). Some people however have a different billing address than the address where they want to receive their magazine.

    I would like to provide a checkbox that says ‘Send my bill to another address’.
    Once this box is ticked, another form (or extra fields) should show, so that people can put in a second address (this time for the billing).

    I would like to keep these fields hidden when the checkbox is not ticked, to prevent that people have to submit the same info twice.

    I hope my question is clear and that there’s an option to do this with ContactForm7.

  • Looks like you are looking for Conditional Logic which is not available directly in the Contact Form 7 plugin.

    It can be done via custom programing but you would need to be rather skilled at WordPress development using PHP and/or jQuery.

    Some of the premium Form plugins do offer some Conditional Logic including Gravity Forms and Ninja Forms.
