• Hi,

I am using a using a directory theme – DirectoryS for my website. The URL structure for the listing page for almost all the directory themes I have tried is something like websitename.com/?location=new-york?practice=doctor etc.

Question 1: Is google able to crawl such urls?

Question 2:How do you make is url SEO friendly e.g, websitename.com/new-york/doctors etc.

I have currently tried multiple permalink extensions – Search custom url, Permarlink fixer etc. But all of them replace url for post but not the directory themes/ plugins

Google can crawl it, but it is not SEO friendly.

Use permalinks (WordPress has it already)

    Thanks for the response.

We tried using permalinks options – but permalinks only lets you already the link for wordpress pages and post.

URLs generated by any external directory plugin can’t be already by this wordpress functionality.

I suppose .htaccess might be one option. But does anyone knows a plugin to achieve the same functionality?
