Make term primary (category)

I have the same problem.
Conflict of plugins checked, same problem even have only Rank Math Seo enabled

Unfortunately, reverting to the previous version of the Rank Math plugin also prevents the main category from being selected now.
What else needs to be changed to get it back the way it was before?

Upon testing further, it seems like the issue is not with the Rank Math plugin:

Assuming you are using the latest version of all the plugins, themes, and WordPress (please update if not yet), it would seem like a conflict with one of the plugins or the theme you are using.

To determine that, please follow this troubleshooting guide:

Only the site admin would know and your users won’t be affected by this troubleshooting.

I’ve done everything exactly the same way, following your instructions. I have the latest versions of WordPress installed, Rahk Math, default theme Twenty Twenty.
All (!) plugins except Rank Math are switched off in Problem Finder mode. I don’t get the main category selection.

I agree with Garryson, as the issue persists even though it is only WooCommerce and Rank Math enabled. Therefore there should not be any conflict with any other plugin, as there is not any other plugin active.

Can you confirm whether the function (of marking certain categories as primary term) is a function of Rank Math?

If so it seems the issue is certainly within Rank Math as no other plugin should conflict with it.

Further elaboration:

If I install Yoast SEO on the website, the function of marking a category as primary term returns (but in Yoasts version and not Rank Math).

We are very happy using Rank Math and would like to continue to do so, but we also appreciate the possibility to mark certain products with specific categories.

Can you please ensure that the following option is turned on?

Rank Math > Titles & Meta > Posts > Primary Taxonomy > and choose categories as the option from the dropdown

If the option still does not show up, please record a video screencast with a Software like Loom and show us the process as you can see in our screencast that the option is working perfectly fine.

Setting the ‘Primary Taxonomy’ in Rank Math -> Titles & Meta -> Wares to ‘Product Category’ seemingly made the option available.

Very weird that it dissapperared in the first place, but we are happy that it is now back.
