make the left side bar active link bold

Try this:

.sidebar .widget ul li a:focus {
    font-weight: bold;
}

i have tried its not working it makes bold only when i click the link, i want to keep the link bold as long as i am staying on that page link

not working same effect as of focus;it makes bold only when i click the link,

Hi there,

that site uses Javascript to alter the style of the list.

On your site you simply need to use a Navigation Widget to display your list of links, as you have done with MS Office MCQs

Then add this CSS:

.widget_nav_menu ul li.current-menu-item a {
    font-weight: bold;
    color: #000;
}
