• I had a need to build a site with a fairly complex level of permissioning, with complex security requirements and the need to keep most of the site for registered users only. I’d worked my way through a whole pile of plug-ins with some doing this and that, but all seeming to miss one item I needed and so I had the complexity of multiple plug-ins and working out which was causing which issue.

In frustration, I went back to basics and started looking for other ways to do what I wanted, and how I wish I had started with AAM, it solved almost everything, in a no fuss, do it once and forget about it way. I can’t claim at this point I am using all the features, nor probably, using them properly, but I rebuilt the site, with more than 10 fewer plugins that the first build, and solved problems I didn’t even realise I had.

I had a query around licenses for test and live around the way I was having to develop, and the support couldn’t have been better, understood the issue, and provided an answer quickly and simply that couldn’t have made me happier.

If you need to manage how people can access different parts of the site, or especially for me, who can see different backend sections of the site, this is the perfect solution. Couldn’t recommend it more highly.
