Makes it Happen!

  • Really useful, does exactly what it says and is very flexible. Really impressed considering it’s totally free. Thanks for this!

    3 suggestions for improvement:
    1) The menu item should be under the Tools directory, not the Settings directory. After the import is done, we end up there anyway, then have to click over to the Settings area again. Maybe a “Do another import” button at the confirmation page would be useful.

    2) It’d be great if we could select the parent category, and sub-directories within there would be populated in sub-categories as well. That would make importing posts into categories a DREAM!

    3) A “Save and Import” button would be much preferred as well. As-is, you have to hit “Save” and then after refresh “Import”. I can see why you’d want each individually, but a combo button would reduce clicks and refreshes by A LOT.

    Ooo, one more thing. The Single File upload doesn’t seem to apply the title from the file name like it does if you upload a directory instead. That seems more like a bug, but still, would be great if that worked well.
