Hello all: I would like to know how to make my website have a “blog” instead of posts directly on the site. In other words, I want the blog posts to be under the title “Blog” and a separate navigation button. See https://www.revenuesolutionsnow.com. Thanks so much for your help.

Create a Page called Blog, then use the static front page features in Administration > Settings > Reading.

Michael:Thanks a lot. But what do I do with the posts on the current website page. I want the ones I have already posted and new ones to appear on the “blog” page. thanks so much

Have you tried using that static front page feature to see what happens?

Yes I did. I put a check besides the Static Page; it then gives me a drop down list of the current pages I have but not the Blog Page I just created. It does not appear in the list.

One more thing (well maybe not – I think you know what you are doing). What will happen to my other pages such as Home, About, etc. In other words, what Page would come up when someone visits my site. Thanks so much for your help.

Go back and check your Settings->Reading settings.

Your ‘Front Page’ would NOT be Blog.

Your ‘Posts Page’ would be Blog.

Okay. Still do not see Blog under drop down list. I created the Blog Page; saved it; went to admin, settings, clicked static page; I see Post page and Front Page; but no Blog Page. Is there something wrong with me or WordPress…never mind do not answer that (smile).
