Making a full site using WordPress

  • Hello Guys,

    I just installed wordpress 2.1 on my server.
    I installed it in a new directory
    https://www.domain.com/blog

    Now.. I want to know how I can have a full site managed using Wordpres.. is it possible.

    Here is what I want ..

    My index page ie. https://www.domain.com should contain a preview of my latest photos and latest pictures. Are there any plugins available for this ?
