Making a section of my website private

  • Hi,
    Using only Pages and sub-pages, my website looks like:
    Home / Page 1 / Page 2

    With sub/sub/subpages on Pages 1 and 2.

    I want to make all the content of Page 2 private. I know how to protect a Page with a password, but I still have two questions:

    – is there a way to have all sub/sub/subpages automatically protected by the password of the “mother page”?

    – is there a way to simply deactivate the drop-down menu from Page 2 from visitors who don’t know the password?
