Making elements stay on home page

Is there a way where certain elements of the home page would not be visible in other pages? I’m using the Thesis theme.

Example, I inserted an image after the header home page. But I don’t want that image on the other pages like About, Products etc. I encoded the image in “thesis_hook_before_content_box” which I believe makes it appear all through out the site.

Is there any other way I could go around this?
