Making header same width as footer?

Amazing theme! I’ve managed to find every single thing except making the header the same width as the footer. On a reasonable size monitor, it looks rather spaced out, logo right over one side, menu items right over the other.

I realise I could do it by overriding CSS with a child theme, but given that almost everything else is a click away, am I missing a basic setting here?
