• I am in some need help getting my blog to be valid XHTML 1.0 Transitional. I have managed to clear up some of the errors myself but I am having a hard time finding and fixing some of the errors reported to me by the W3C markup validator. I have a basic working knowledge of PHP and CSS and know how to modify the files on my server.

  • First, I’d like to recommend this add-on for Firefox instead of checking with the validator because it’s much quicker.

    You currently have 53 validation errors on your main page. This is something we can’t just clear up for you by telling you to change something here or there. You’d be much better off learning about valid XHTML. A quick Google search for this will list tons of sites and tutorials you can start with.

    I will say that the Flickr badge you’re using is giving you a lot of those errors. Also, make sure you use instead of and use the alt attribute with images. Maybe that’ll help get you started.

    Well thank you for the info. As I said above I managed to clear up a few of them. I also know that some of my plugins are the cause of many errors as well as my theme. I know also that some of the errors are because of my own lack of using alt for images and I also have a problem remembering to use
