making only only one entry show up

  • any input would be greatly appreciated.

    basically, the wordpress blog would be on blog.domain.com
    however, i want just want an entry i write to show up on the main page domain.com as a sort of welcome message to tell of updates, etc. is there a way to do this?

    to clarify. the blog.domain.com would have the sidebars with most popular, tags, etc. as for the domain page, just want the blog title, blog, time stamp.

    hopefully you get what i’m saying. have an example site but not sure if i could post external links or not.
