Making sidebar wider – or calendar narrower (TSWWide theme)

    Hi,
    I’m fairly new to WordPress and CMS. However I can do some CSS coding.
    My WP page is set up with the “TSWWide” theme with two columns: a main pane and a sidebar. I want to use the calendar widget, but the calendar is too wide for the sidebar and spills over the edge.

    I tried looking at the css code but couldn’t figure out where to make the changes. I’d like to either make the sidebar wide enough to accommodate the calendar widget, or the calendar widget narrower so it doesn’t overrun the sidebar. I don’t mind if the main pane has to be made narrower. Should I just add a “min-width” into the sidebar’s properties?

    Can anyone advise how to do this?
