Hi All, I wish there was a category for WordPress Mobile, but no matter; I am such a newbie at this, but I want to open the discussion about figuring out how to convert ones WordPress site into something APP ready, as well as mobile ready? I have seen Whiziapp, and some others but they charge alot to remove ads, if it was a one time purchase I might consider it. The other option I thought of was just having a developer help me make something. But if someone out there knows of a app plugin that is reasonable, and technically solid for IOS and Android I would love to hear about it. OR, maybe there is a cobbling together of things in order to make something pretty solid.

Any wisdom on where to start? Thoughts? Where the rubber hits the road is regarding the aesthetics, how to customize them. Searches provide lots of lists out there of the best free WordPress to App choices, but it seems they are more just advertisements. I am sure there are brilliant developers out there with very strong opinions?

A humble explorer considering how to appify my website without filling peoples devices with advertisement garbage….

    Yours, Anthony

What is the reason you want to make an app?

My main reason personally is to extend the presence of my work as an artist, I noticed that the one week I tried wiziapp, I had some people add me and use it. I pulled it once I discovered the advertisements running on it. It seems logical that its one step closer to the user, given it would have push notifications. Users would not have to bookmark me, but just have me on their mobile device. This is my thinking so far….
