    Hi,

I started to play with WP on a local network with now connection to the outside useless I let it be! I will never build something to be online; only for curiosity purposes.

I have a very low level question and I failed to find the answer in all those topics.

I have WP installed. I manually installed STOREFRONT Themes.

Now I’m wondering how to make it look like exactly the LIVE DEMO I saw. I read that I need to “Import Demo Data Content”. So, where? How? Is it even possible?

    Thanks!

  • Hi @marcbonnier,

Thank you for contacting WooCommerce Plugin Support. It’s great to see your enthusiasm for learning and experimenting locally. ?? To make your Storefront theme look like the live demo, you’re on the right track with importing demo data. This process will populate your site with sample products, categories, and pages, making it look very similar to the demo. Here’s how you can do it:

    1. Download the Storefront theme from www.ads-software.com if you haven’t already.
    2. Next, you’ll want to import the sample data. You can find the sample data file on GitHub here.
    3. To import this data into your site, you can follow the detailed guide provided in this article.

If you encounter any issues or have further questions while importing the data, feel free to reach out.

    Hi!

Thanks for the answer. I should have think to look at the GitHub!!

Everything is working fine now. I don’t need or intent to have a WP instance running somewhere but It’s interesting to understand how all works. Incredible community. The code is ALL COMMENTED! I wish codes were always like this.

    Thanks again for the reply.
