Making Tags invisible?

Thought I would try again since it has been a year and its possible this did not reach anyone for some reason. I wondered if anyone can tell me how to make the tags with this theme not publicly viewable. I think it is a wonderful theme and I want to keep it but I wish the tags did not show. Thanks!
