Making the backend more sociable for authors!?

    Has anyone suggestions how to make the backend a bit more socializing for authors. Right now I gave my authors permission to write a post and included the E-mail plugin so they can send e-mails to other users. But the backend looks (obviously) pretty boring and is not really fun to use. Does anyone know plugins to make it a bit more interesting for authors?

    I would really appreciate some thoughts. Thank you guys!!

  • I use Adminimize, which is great! I recommend it.
    You could also use TDO Mini Forms to avoid your authors to go to the admin section.
