Making the search form behave like CTRL F

I have a WordPress page with a lot of text. I want to change my search form so that it behaves like CTRL F. Any way of doing this? Basically, I have about 2,000 lines. On each line there is a date, followed by a line of text. I want users to be able to pop the date into the search form, and have that line highlighted. Any ideas?
