Making the site tagline longer or Adding Text to Header

    Ok. I’ve spent hours going through the online manuals and I can’t figure this out.

    I’d like a permanent block of text in the header to describe the site.
    I’m using the “connections” theme and I’d like to add the text below the header image.

    How can I add 4 lines of text ?

    Assistance would be appreciated!
