making widget categories invisible

  • i am using widgets in my sidebar…

    1. which file should i edit to make certain categories invisible in sidebar? pls don’t say sidebar.php, the widgets ignore this file…

  • Are you meaning that you are using the Category widget, and when you use that widget, you want certain Categories to not display?

    i wanted to make a link to a post in a category that should have remained invisible.
    i was going to create a guestbook as a post in it’s own category but i have changed my mind now… thanks for looking in…
