Malcare in the subdirectory

    I have two WordPress installations. One on the root directory (https://www.rianstech.com) and the other one on a subdirectory (https://www.rianstech.com/review/). I am using cloudways.

    Cloudways automatically added a plugin named Bot Protection which is basically Malcare if I am not wrong.

    Does this also protect the subdirectory where we have a separate WordPress installation? There seems to be no option for Cloudways to install the same plugin on a subdirectory.
