• Being a relative newbie, I’m not sure where to post this.

My site is running the latest version of WordPress using a child theme of Customizr. Having run Screaming Frog SEO Spider over the site it is reporting a large number of Malformed URL’s. Please can someone explain what these are, how they are generated, what the consequences are, and how I can fix them (bearing in mind my fairly novice-level abilities).
    Thanks in anticipation.
    Graham

  • Have you resolved the issue as your thread was posted over 6 months ago?

If not, I would contact “Screaming Frog SEO Spider”, it looks like a paid SEO service. I’m sure they’ll be able to point you in the right direction since you’re using their product.

Within WordPress Codex, you should look at Permalinks. “Permalinks are the permanent URLs to your individual weblog posts, as well as categories and other lists of weblog postings.” (https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Using_Permalinks)
