    Hi

    My WordPress site seems to be infected with the AnonymousFox virus.
    This code is in my .htaccess file

    ---
    <FilesMatch ".*\.(phtml|php|PhP|php5|suspected)$">
    Order Allow,Deny
    Deny from all
    </FilesMatch>
    <FilesMatch "^(index.php|wp.php|plugin-install.php|mar.php|cong.php|about.php|install.php|xboom.php|mds.php|saiga.php|wp-admin.php|lv.php|content.php|zxl.php|fm.php|wp-booking.php|zeal.php|wp-login.php|classsmtps.php)$">
    Order Allow,Deny
    Allow from all
    </FilesMatch>

    ---

    If I remove it, as soon as the website is accessed it re-appears and when I access my WordPress control panel none of the links down the left hand side work – I get 404 redirects from them all this stops me from running Wordfence, which I have had installed for many years. I thought Wordfence would have protected me from this?

    Does anyone please have a way to remove this that does not involve deleting the whole site?

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]
