Malicious code in theme "flashy"?

Hi all.

My site https://kenneho.net/ is running the theme “flashy”. I’ve noticed that when I click on the gray area to the left or the right of the page, I’m once in a while hitting some soft of link to a malicious site (don’t remember the URL).

Don’t know exactly why it happens only once in a while.

I’m guessing it’s likely that the theme itself has been hacked. Is this a correct assumption? Will switching to another theme, or re-installing the one I have, suffice in fixing this issue?
