Malicious file alert with Adblock notify

    Hi,
    I have malicious file alert after updating Adblock Notify Lite plugin.

    * File appears to be malicious: wp-content/plugins/adblock-notify-by-bweb/lib/titan-framework/js/ace-min-noconflict/mode-php.js

    * File appears to be malicious: wp-content/plugins/adblock-notify-by-bweb/vendor/titan-framework/js/ace-min-noconflict/mode-php.js

    I think it’s a false positive, isn’t it ?

  • Hi Cavor, I think it is but I haven’t reviewed that plugin so I can’t make any promises. If you trust the plugin author you can just verify by checking that your local version of the file is identical to the one they are distributing with their latest version.
